The Safety Glass Frosting - Outline Dots Manifestations offers an effective solution for enhancing safety in spaces with glazed walls and screens. Designed to be DDA compliant, this manifestation is available in 1-metre lengths, featuring 50mm diameter circle outlines (dots) pattern with 65mm gaps. For a more continuous look, a solid band option is also available. These designs help to create a visual barrier, ensuring that glass surfaces are easily identifiable to prevent accidental collisions.
In line with British Standard 6262, the surface of glazed walls or screens that are adjacent to doors, or form part of an enclosure, must be clearly highlighted with a manifestation that contrasts visually with the background. This ensures that the manifestation is easily visible under both natural and artificial lighting conditions.
The manifestation should be applied within two specific zones: from 850mm to 1000mm from the floor and from 1400mm to 1600mm from the floor, ensuring the safety and visibility of the glass surfaces, while also adhering to the legal guidelines. The open dots pattern adds both function and style to your space, perfect for offices, commercial buildings, and public areas.
